Questions
How does the free trial work?
Sign up, choose a package and add your payment details (card, or Direct Debit where offered) through our secure payment provider, Stripe. You then get 7 days to try Garolex for free. We email you 2 days before the trial ends. If you cancel before the end of the trial you won’t be charged; otherwise your first monthly payment is taken automatically when the trial ends.
Can I put my own logo and details on invoices?
Yes. Every package lets you add your logo, business name, address, phone, email, website, bank details (account name, sort code and account number), terms and a footer. If you're VAT registered, add your VAT number and switch VAT on.
Can I change package later?
Yes – move up or down whenever you like from Account & billing inside the app. Your data stays exactly where it is.
What happens if a payment fails?
We'll email you before each payment is due and let you know if a payment doesn't go through. If an account stays unpaid it becomes read-only: you can still log in and see everything, but you can't create or send new invoices or quotes until it's paid. As soon as payment goes through, everything unlocks automatically.
Is my data kept private?
Each garage's data is stored separately and only people you add as users can see it. Connections are encrypted and you can export your invoices and customers to CSV whenever you want. See our privacy policy.
Does it work on my phone?
Yes. Garolex works in the browser on phones, tablets and computers. On the Business and Ultimate packages you can also install it on your home screen like an app.
What's the "website built for your garage"?
On Ultimate you can ask us for a website from inside the app – tell us what pages you want and how it should look, and we'll get in touch to build it with you. You also get your own Garolex page with online booking straight away.
How many people can use it?
Starter includes 1 user, Standard 2, Professional 3, Business 10 and Ultimate 25.
